According to existingcountries.com, State Route 27 is a state route in the U.S. state of California. The road forms a north-south route through western Los Angeles, from Topanga Beach to Chatsworth. State Route 27 is 20 miles long.
State Route 27 begins at an intersection with State Route 1 right on Topanga Beach. State Route 27 is then a single-lane road through the sparsely built Topanga Canyon. The entire route is also called Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The highest point of the road is about 450 meters above sea level. Then State Route 27 continues as an urban arterial through the west of the San Fernando Valley. It is largely a seven-lane road with a center turn lane, but few sections have separate lanes. The road intersects with US 101 and ends at State Route 118.
State Route 27 has historically been a major route through the San Fernando Valley. It is one of the few roads through the Santa Monica Mountains. The San Fernando Valley has been rapidly built up since the 1950s, giving this part of the route an urban character.
Every day, about 17,000 vehicles drive through the Topanga Canyon on the single-lane section. The urban portion through the San Fernando Valley handles mostly 30,000 to 40,000 vehicles per day, with a peak of 60,000 vehicles at the junction with US 101.

State Route 28 is a state route in the U.S. state of California. The road forms a route along the north side of Lake Tahoe and is 18 kilometers long.
State Route 28 begins in Tahoe City at State Route 89. The road heads northeast along the north side of Lake Tahoe, 1,900 meters above sea level. The mountains in the immediate vicinity are approximately 2,600 meters high. There are many vacation homes along Lake Tahoe, giving the road a somewhat urbanized appearance. Due to the dense forest, the lake is not always visible from the road. After Kings Beach, the Nevada border follows, after which State Route 28 in Nevada continues to Incline Village and Reno.
Lake Tahoe is the largest mountain lake in North America and is a major tourist destination in California and Nevada. The first Europeans to see Lake Tahoe were John Fremont’s expedition in 1844. After World War II, the number of homes and vacation homes around Lake Tahoe increased dramatically. Casinos have been built on the Nevada side. In 1960 barely 10,000 people lived around Lake Tahoe, by 1980 there were more than 50,000.
The area surrounding State Route 28 has many homes and vacation homes, plus many tourists. The road is therefore used relatively intensively, with mostly 11,000 to 17,000 vehicles per day.
State Route 29 in California
State Route 29 is a state route in the U.S. state of California. The road is located in Northern California and forms a north-south route from Vallejo to Upper Lake. The road leads through the Napa Valley and past Clear Lake. State Route 29 is 170 kilometers long.
State Route 29 begins in Vallejo, a remote suburb of San Francisco. The SR-29 in Vallejo is a four-lane urban arterial. There is a connection with State Route 37, after which the road runs as a 2×2 divided highway to the city of Napa. Through Napa, SR-29 is basically a short freeway with 2×2 lanes and a number of grade separations. Then follows a route north through the narrowing Napa Valley, with low forested mountains to about 900 meters all around.
From Calistoga you leave the Napa Valley and the SR-29 runs over a winding mountain pass of about 700 meters. The road then heads north to Lower Lake, after which SR-29 runs west around Clear Lake. Along the west side of Clear Lake, SR-29 is again a short 2×2 lane freeway. The road then ends in Upper Lake.
State Route 29 was created in 1934. The mountain pass between Calistoga and Lower Lake was built in 1868 as a toll road. The state of California purchased this toll road in 1925.
It is unclear when the short highway sections through Napa and around Clear Lake were built, presumably in the 1970s-80s. The connection with Trancas Street in Napa was built in 2004.
13,000 to 23,000 vehicles pass through Vallejo daily, rising to 45,000 vehicles between Vallejo and Napa and peaking at a maximum of 66,000 vehicles in Napa. North of Napa this is still quite high with 24,000 vehicles to St. Helena and 14,000 vehicles to Calistoga. The mountain pass to Lower Lake is also not relatively busy with 9,000 vehicles. 11,000 to 13,000 vehicles travel along the south side of Clear Lake, and 14,000 vehicles travel along the west side of Clear Lake on the freeway.
State Route 32 in California
According to Anycountyprivateschools, State Route 32 is a state route in the U.S. state of California. The road forms an east-west route through Northern California, from Orland in the Sacramento Valley to near Chester in the Sierra Nevada. The road is 120 kilometers long.
State Route 32 begins in Orland at a junction with Interstate 5, about 100 miles south of Redding. The road heads east as a single-lane road through the flat Sacramento Valley, which is agricultural in character. After more than 25 kilometers you reach Chico, the largest city on the route. The road runs through downtown Chico and connects with State Route 99. From Chico, State Route 32 heads northeast into the Sierra Nevada and first rises to approximately 1,350 meters. The road then runs through a canyon and ends west of Chester on State Route 89.
State Route 32 has traditionally been a somewhat through connection, although the city of Chico was originally mainly accessible via the US 99 – later SR-99 – only later was Interstate 5 built as a north-south route through Orland. The road is most important between Orland and Chico, as the Sierra Nevada east of Chico is very sparsely populated. State Route 32 has not been developed to a high standard anywhere.
Every day, 8,000 to 13,000 vehicles drive between Orland and Chico, peaking at 23,000 vehicles in Chico. East of Chico, the intensity drops rapidly to less than 3,000 vehicles per day, dropping to just 900 vehicles per day in the Lassen National Forest.
